Swimming with seals

Snorkelling with seals, allowing them to come up to you and check you out if they fancy it, has to be one of life’s dreams. The first time I jumped off the boat I was with my husband but I couldn’t open my eyes at first, far too scared of what I might see. And then I realised that if I didn‘t open them then I wouldn’t be able to see the seals which would defeat the whole purpose of the trip. So I opened them and saw the beautiful graceful seals, swimming lazily around underneath, popping up for a closer look, before dashing back away into the kelp. Me! Swimming with seals! Out in the open water! And loving it!!! What an incredible experience.
